A space to set down what you carry.
You can be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone.
Especially when you keep everything inside so you don’t worry the people around you, and you keep pretending you’re fine. Here’s what you can come and set down — no need to explain yourself.
You don’t have to be doing very badly to talk. Sometimes, talking early keeps you from carrying it too long.
How it works
Three simple steps, at your own pace.
You pick your time slot
Book online for the length of time that suits you, at least 24 hours ahead, and pay for the session when you book.
We confirm on WhatsApp
You receive a confirmation, then a reminder. The session takes place over a WhatsApp audio call, you don’t need to show your face. At the scheduled time, I’m the one who calls you. All you have to do is pick up.

Frequently asked questions
How does a session work?
The session takes place over a WhatsApp call, audio only. You settle into a quiet, private spot and talk freely for the time you booked. I’m here to listen, without judging or rushing you.
What if I don’t know what to say?
There’s nothing to prepare. You can take your time finding your words, stay silent for a moment, cry if the tears come. All of it is welcome, at your own pace. It’s my role to hold the space, not yours to fill it.
Do I have to show my face?
No. Sessions are WhatsApp audio calls only. You don’t need to show your face: you can talk calmly, wherever you are, in complete discretion.
Is it really confidential?
Yes. Our conversations are handled with discretion and respect. The only limit: in case of immediate danger to your life or someone else’s, I will direct you straight to the emergency services (144 in Switzerland, 112 in Europe, or your country’s emergency number) and may need to alert them myself. Je t’écoute is not an emergency service and cannot intervene on your behalf.
Do I have to give my real name?
No. In the booking form, a first name is enough, even a made-up one if you prefer. You’ll also need an email address to receive the confirmation, and payment is made online. Your phone number is used only for the call and is kept strictly confidential.
Is this therapy or psychological care?
No. Je t’écoute is a space for caring listening, not a medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic service. No diagnosis, treatment or medical advice is given. It does not replace a doctor, a psychologist or a psychotherapist.
Who is this service for?
For anyone who needs to talk: people living far from their families, students, single mothers, men with no one to confide in, people who keep everything to themselves. You don’t have to be doing very badly to come and talk.
Why talk to someone I don’t know?
Precisely because I’m not part of your life. No shared history, no one’s feelings to protect, no fear of it getting back to the people close to you. You can say anything, and it stays here.
How far in advance should I book?
A session is booked at least 24 hours ahead, so everything can be arranged calmly.
What if I need to talk right away?
A session is booked at least 24 hours ahead. If you need to be heard right now, in Switzerland, 143 (La Main Tendue) listens free of charge, around the clock; elsewhere in the world, findahelpline.com lists the helplines in your country. This is something different: an unhurried moment, set aside just for you, at a time you choose, with the same listener every time.
How is payment made?
Payment is made online when you book, by card. The session is confirmed once payment is received.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the session: you’re then fully refunded, or you pick a new slot. Less than 24 hours before, or in case of a no-show, the session isn’t refunded, but it can be rescheduled once, within 30 days.
In an emergency
Je t’écoute is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself, contact your country’s emergency services right away. In Switzerland and Europe, these numbers can help:
- 144
- Medical emergency
Ambulance, Switzerland - 112
- General emergency
European number - 143
- La Main Tendue
Anonymous listening 24/7, Switzerland - 147
- Pro Juventute
Children and youth 24/7, Switzerland
Elsewhere in the world, helplines, most of them free, are listed country by country on findahelpline.com.
